2. GROTTA DELLO SMERALDO: the hidden jewel!
Discovered in 1932 by a fisherman from Conca dei Marini, it is a fantastic emerald-colored temple, very rich in stalactites and columns that rise from the sea, taking on the appearance of mythological figures and fantastic animals created by the water that drips from the rock vault.
Under the sea there is a beautiful ceramic nativity scene, a pilgrimage destination every year by divers from all over the world.
